My Curly Hair Transition

Yes, I did it people! I finally decided to let my curls grow back out. I’ve been getting keratin treatments for 5 years and honestly I’ve just grown tired of running to the hair stylist the minute I see a little curly root! Also, I live in Massachusetts where getting touch ups costs around $250 which was becoming too much since I had to get mine done every other month!

The real motivation behind my transition though is the fact that both of my daughters were born with beautiful curls and I just want to match them! Lol

I want them to see that curly hair is beautiful and something to be proud of.

As you can see in the collage above, I can finally see my curls forming!! It is such a great feeling 🙂 I missed seeing those little spirals.

It takes a lot of patience and care but anyone can do it if they just have some courage and delay gratification! I can guarantee you feel extremely proud of yourself for not giving up. Just keep the end goal in mind!
