Equipment

  • 5 quarts pot
  • 2 small plates or containers
  • 4 cocktail glasses (cups)

Ingredients

Cider

  • 64 fl. oz. Cider, Apple
  • 2 fl. oz. Whiskey or Bourbon I use Maker's Mark!
  • 6 Raspberries
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 Rosemary Sprig

Sugar & Cinnamon Rim for Cocktail

  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon

Garnishes for Drink

  • 12 Raspberries 3 raspberries in each cup
  • 1 Rosemary sprig, cut into 4 even pieces 1/4 of the sprig in each cup
  • 4 Cinnamon sticks 1 cinnamon stick in each up
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

1.) Sugar & Cinnamon Rim

  • Get the two plates. In one plate pour in the tablespoon of lemon juice. Place the cup upside down in order to get the rim wet. In the other plate, mix the ground cinnamon and sugar together. Place the cup upside down over the mixture so that the ingredients stick to the rim.

2.) Garnish

  • Once you have completed the rim steps, throw in 3 raspberries, 1/4 rosemary sprig, and 1 cinnamon stick in each glass.

3.) Cider

  • On medium heat, pour the cider into the pot. Add in the rest of the cider ingredients and let it come to a boil. Turn the heat to low and let it all simmer for about 5 - 10 minutes. Turn the heat off and let it cool down for 5 minutes. Pour the whiskey directly into each cup (I like this part because you can also ask guests how much whiskey they would like).
